Most composers (outside magnificent and obvious exceptions) loathe the organ.  I tried to overcome this, and take the beast by the snowt, in this extended work for the restoration of the instrument in Eton College Chapel.  (My only previous piece for organ had been for the old instrument in New College Chapel Oxford, the night before it was due for demolition and transportation, prior to a complete new start.)
