The further five unaccompanied settings of Stevie Smith, Five Little Songs about Death, clearly belong to the same area of endeavour as the Cantata on the Death of God:  though in fact the closing chorus of the Cantata is an expansion of So to Fatness Come, the final song in Tender Only to One, op. 12.
